Who would have thought it? I add a new toy to my little music making set-up and I get the worse creative block in a year. :( I’ve been ill too, but only after a week of no output. Finally I have a small piece that I can put up. Maybe I can take some solace in the fact that it shouldn’t be so long again before I make something else? Sorry for the lack of sound.

Nothing I’ve made in the past week sounds right. I fear that there is an element of repetition in the methods, sounds and melodies I am using.

The Zoom H4n’s (my recent purchase) manual has been consumed and I shall attempt to press it into action.

Work is swallowing up must of my time at the moment so I haven’t had as much time to create and share. I hope this fills the gap for a couple of days.

This is the result of playing around in Live 8, with Simpler, Reaktor and a Max for Live midi plug-in call the Schwarzonator, which is brilliant fun for someone like me, who knows what we wants things to sound like, but can’t play more than grade 2 piano! ;)

This little piece is dedicated to Imogen Heap, having to ‘Wait it out’ on her throat for tonight. I’m desperate to see her, but know she has to protect her voice. Get well soon Immi!

It’s day three hundred & sixty five of my ambient experiment. I can’t believe a year has passed by since I started to share my regular noodles. This piece is dedicated to each and everyone of you that have taken the time to listen and encourage me. Thank you.

Whilst I will still put up regular bits and pieces, I now plan to start working on a ‘proper’ release, start painting again & pick up a camera soon too.
