140 – Hours
This piece has taken hours to complete on the netbook. Despite this, I am posting it, reluctantly, as I don’t feel it measures up to some of my work so far.
It’s been made by building a track, adding effects, freezing it and then importing it as a wav back into Live. Eventually, I have 8 wavs running with some light effects to pull the sound together. Levels and balancing the track have been difficult and errors often meant having to go backwards quite often. Whilst this has been labourious, I hope it will help my ideas once I start using the desktop to make something more complex and immediate.
It does have some lovely tones which may prove useful to anyone that makes samples from these tracks. So, for that reason, along with the fact that this blog is meant to reflect my ongoing creativity, in a diary form, it’s up.
