169 – Okno
I’ve recently managed to get hold of a copy of The Conet Project-Recordings of Shortwave Numbers Stations and this little ditty is just something I came up with late before sleep last night. All of the sounds come from samples taken from the CD, manipulated in Simpler and effected within Live.
Over the coming weeks I will listen fully to these CD recordings to see if I can make a whole and proper release, using them as the backbone for the project.

This is FABULOUS James. So much depth! I love those deep bass sounds. This is a definite download (but I wish it were a little longer).
Are you going to release your Number Stations tracks as a collection, like the Eurovision DVD? And when is that one going to be out?
Keep up the wonderful work. And my the third and final question: How do you produce such quality so quickly / prolifically?

Lovely track, really like the long moving pad with the bubbly bass melody.

Thanks.
Not sure about a release yet for these. I am waiting for Max4Live to become available as I think it will allow me to manipulate the Conet samples much more uniquely.
As for the Eurovision DVD, you’ll have to ask Mr Fonseca ;)
To answer your last question, how do I keep coming up with stuff? I put Live into record everytime I sit down in front of the computer. A lot of the time something small will pop out of my head and having it recorded means I can play with it and develop any interesting bits. :)
