248 – Esemplastic
My creative juices feel like they have dried up, but taking advice from some wise Twitter friends, I’m not going to let it get to me.
I wasn’t going to post the results of last night’s noodling, but after giving it a few listens, it doesn’t seem so bad.
Made using a 0.03 second sample of Elgar’s Nimrod as a sound source.

Another beautiful emotionally moving piece. I find a lot of ambient music can be boring but time just disappears when I listen to yours. I’m going through your back catalog when I get the chance and it is fantastic stuff. Thanks for making it available.

Thanks Mark. You’re welcome. My pieces are often v.simple in melody, but I do try to create work with real feeling. I also treat effects as an instrument in their own right, which hopefully adds additional layers to keep things interesting. I hope you find other pieces that you’ll like too. :)

A beautiful piece of music. I’m often awake late, working once the kids are asleep, so I’m glad I’ve found your site to be the soundtrack. Thanks for composing and posting such gems of sound.
