A night of restless sleep and bewildering dreams led me to be fully awake at 6am. Rather than try in vain to return to sleep, I decided to revisit some Conet samples and took one from Disc 2 and made it into something resembling a ghostly brass & woodwind section playing a strange and haunting nocturnal soundscape. Not unlike the effect that these original broadcasts had on me, under the bed covers, late in the evening, as a young boy.

The sonic distortion that Tinnitus brings, whilst sometimes annoying, can also make certain moments quite interesting.

As I woke this morning, I could hear the roar of the A3 in the distance fading in and out along with the movement of the wind outside my window. The birdsong triggering little sweeps of noise in my head. This combination of the airwaves and my brain’s electrical murmurings is captured in this little ditty. More of a mini soundscape than a piece of music.

Please may I remind you of my charity offering of one donation for the 24 releases I have made so far? The target has been reached, but I’d for us to raise as much as possible together. If you can’t donate, please spread the word to as many people as possible?
