060 – Aeneous

This piece is a bit of an interlude. It was meant to go up yesterday, and is a reaction to the hazy sunshine and cold breeze of the past couple of days in this part of the world.

Sorry if I have seemed quiet on here and Twitter, but I have the lovely Nickie with me this weekend and we’ve been out doing stuff together. No doubt this will inspire me to create something much better on Monday for you all.

059 – Cesious

Had some fun playing with Ableton Live 8 really late last night and early this morning. It’s a bit heavier on the CPU, but seems pretty stable. There are a lot of new features for me to explore. :)

Here is the output from a couple of hours playing around.

When I hear this I have a sense of blue & grey.

Ableton Live 8 Launches!

Sorry for the silence since Tuesday, but I have had ‘real life stuff’ take over my time yesterday and also today. To cap this, all day there were rumours that Ableton Live 8 was being made available. I only have version 6 and didn’t upgrade to 7. However, the new version has some features that I really want to try out. So, on finding it has been launched officially, I am downloading the demo and will play with it this evening and see what I can produce from it with Reaktor 5.

Thanks for your patience.
