Twitter

This blog has gained support from some great people on Twitter and I wanted to make room here to let you know about some of those who inspire, interest and entertain me. The initial friendships I’d made are listed below.

Not all are related to the area this blog covers, but all are worth finding out about. Some I am in contact with regularly, some intermittently, whilst others may not even know that I follow them. All of them have a positive effect on me, my outlook and my ideas.

I can’t of course list all of the people I follow or who follow me, but look through my #followfriday list and you’ll find some cool, fun and friendly people.

Thanks everyone.

@nixnoo
My beautiful girlfriend. Amongst all the wonderful things she has brought into my life, she has given me the confidence to pursue my dream to express my creative side. She is a lover of Art and Music, brings a smile to those who meet her and joy to those who get to know her. My works would never have existed were it not for Nickie.

@fjfonseca
Fernando is a talented musician, producer, blogger of all things geek and v.friendly. He came across what I was doing on this blog via Twitter and instantly held out a hand of friendship and support, offering me a chance to publish my output via his net label PublicSpacesLab (see below). Seems to be on the go, all of the time.

@PublicSpacesLab
Fernando and his team have been great to me. I’m sure that without their help over the past few months that I would not have the amount of ears trained in the direction of my pieces, as I do now. Check out their site and look take some time to listen to the other artists they support.

@kieronjames
Kieron is another talented writer/musician and incredibly friendly person. His work may be very different to mine, but his enthusiasm for trying unusual sonic ideas, such as the inspirational ‘Cosecha – The Random Sound Project‘ on Twitter, born from a discussion between @fjfonseca and @boomtopper. He kindly took the time to do a re-working on one of my tracks, Grey Space. Hear it here.

@JCLemay
A brilliant composer/remixer. Has an impressive body of work. Another very positive person towards what I am trying to achieve. He remixed and vastly improved one of my tracks, Seed Green. Check out his site, you really won’t regret it.

@thomasraukamp In his own words – Baha’i, Journalist, Music Writer, Netaudio Freak, Ubuntu User, Editor in Chief of Beat Magazine. He has been a firm supporter and his recommendations of Net Audio via Noumenon :: and :: Phenomenon are a daily must for me to check out.

@swayingsmoke
Fellow PublicSpacesLab artist. James is a very supportive and talented musician, his work is well worth taking time out to listen to. His site can be found here.

@mapmap
Marcus Fischer performs under the name of ‘map~map’ and is one half of the duo ‘unrecognizeable now’. His Dust Breeding blog has become an essential visit. His abilty to create beautiful things from an often unlikely source has surprised and inspired me many times.

@pure_tone: Mastering guru, friendly guy who I hope will take one of my pieces and make it sound glorious. Check out his blog too.

@iambriangreen: Takes sound, bends, shapes and manipulates it, not easy to pigeon-hole.

@auditorycanvas: A very talented musician. Makes stuff I love to listen to. You should see what he is doing to his Akai APC40!

more to follow soon… so if you think you should be here and are not, please bear with me? There are quite a few of you to list! :)
